The best of Marina Barrage

Water features

on a nice day with a calm water surface, you can take a nice picture of the flyer and it's reflection.
The picture says it all.. too bad my camera, camera skills and equipment isn't good enough.. else i can take better pictures. I've been to the Marina Barrage for 3 times already, all of which were during the night. I think i can be a Marina Barrage tour guide already haha. Its a good place to hang out with close friends and it doesn't have a closing time (However, the fountain lights dim down after midnight and so does the Singapore Flyer, so the scenery also loses its glitz). The best time to go would most probably be at night but getting there might be a hassle for those without cars. I've never been there in the daytime but i reckon you can walk thru the galleries there. Weekdays are nice if you want a quiet walk with your girl or your buddies for hthts but if you wanna just ' chou chou re nao' you can go there on saturdays.. (you can see Malay families picinicing there with kids folicking in the water features, all the Ah mas and Ah gongs with their family walking, couples on the grass patch snuggling up each other overlooking the nice nightscape of the CBD and the flyer...)

I finally got to explore the new Jurong Point Extension. Did half of it yesterday when me and my teamies "Matthias" Lin Y.K, "Tai zi" Jinhan, Ashley and Darryl, went there for dinner and la kopi. There's alot of restaurants there now and alot more people coming down to the mall to eat man.. (we went to New york New York to check out if how long will our order come .. and they said we need to wait for 45 mins for it to come...) We settled for the Taiwanese Cafe 'Lai lai' instead and we left it smelling like Taiwanese Beef Noodles.
I went back to JP today to look for some gift ideas ... didnt get much inspiration though.. crap.
I got myself an early x'mas present though...!

A Gorillapod. I guess i will survive on this mini tripod till i get enough money to afford a proper one.
