it continued to be a good day today until the rain came.

we were clocking 2 min sets today and they weren't perfect at all. for the start of each race, i always started feeling damn excited to better my own effort so i can better contribute to the race.. with the end of each race, i'm again excited to go to the next one and correct myself though its damn shag.

our scoresheet for today was
1 gold for tertiary men's ,
1 joint gold for men's open.
1 bronze for mixed open

the ladies got 3rd for both the tertiary and opens.

may they not give up and continue to work hard.

we all didnt realli liked the fact that we weren't given a chance to fight for the bronze or the joint gold so that we can at least better our placing or at least know where we are against our opponents. but no choice. it was raining cats and dogs and the officials couldn't drag the time any further for the remaining races. so they went ahead to award the prizes based on the timings clocked during the semis.

tired from yesterday's race, i slept during the earth hour and continued on sleeping till now. felt like spiderman jus now. woke up.. and i realised i could see clearly without specs. then i realised.. oh. i'm still wearing my contacts.

tried going back to sleep..but i just kept tossing and turning.. so i think i will just pack my bag for tml instead cos i will have to leave early tml to meet lilprince, jonah, leslie, YEKAI @ bedok macs tml .. the who late who pig breakfast. decided to spend an hr online too.. blog a lil and see my pixs if the time allows.

today, we found back part of the aggressiveness we've been missing out during trainings. it was a good feeling since we felt calm doing that last set of the day though we didn't clock a good timing as compared to our first set of the day. mmm.. thats new for a change since we always never clock a good set for our first set.

hope this desire and motivation will be here to stay. Its a good habit to put your all and show your desire to win with the first stroke you touch the water when you are warming up to the start line. kudos to the juniors too and alumnuas. think their starts are good.

today's a new day and we will be doing new stuff. i hope for the best and that we have the energy to do a good set each set.

Every Friday is a good Friday.

Thanks to those who helped on Tuesday evening.(oldman ash and brave smallprince) it was freaky but glad nothin happened. i'm still tired abt it... lost some sleep over the week but better losing sleep than a person. i think they should start a ribbon project for r/s breakup survivors.. they need some affirmation.

Friends are always there for you. be it close or not dat close, i think most people can provide a listening for you to rant, grieve about it. but there's no reason for anyone to pick the 'fast foward to your time' card in any case. be responsible for your actions and note that there are more people affected by your decisions than you think. Friends, as on lookers can only help u and advise u that much. if you dun wanna help yourself, no one can. but one thing for sure, they will be sad. needless to say, parents will be the worst hit ones.

Its' been a busy week. well not realli that busy at work.. but more so when i reach home. its de week b4 M_r500. last week of pushing. i've been doing the runs as what mr zx prescribed, running at speed 12 for 10 as warm up then 13 - 13.5 for 20 mins, did ergos and weights to condition my muscles to the strain. hope it helps. and i'm busy with coordinating the inaugural P.I.M_ P (party in Melvin's place) hah. i stole that abbreviation from the SCC's carnival night for young sportsmen in the different sections. I didn't realli particularly liked going to the event though.. couldn't really find myself fitting into the scene.. SCC's more of an 'atas' place and i'm more of a simple , middle class family, more at ease with kopitiams, neighbourhood shopping malls. so yeah. i'm only in scc cos of lawnbowls and also cos i've been inside with my friends since JC after our teacher in charge, Mrs Lim jio us in.. (she's l_im yu b)eng's mom btw..and a great teacher)

Anyway, this P.I.M_P event is to celebrate huishan's bdae one of my jc lawn bowls club friends.. haha. we've been meeting up very regularly since the start of this year to celebrate one another's bdaes. i'm also holding it cos i wanna try holding a gathering for my friends over in my house. i've been wanting to hold one for my dragonboat team .. well not for the whole team.. but mebbe my batch and a few others. (dunno if that can materialise or not.. ) together with my new wii.. it only gives more reason to do so.. previously i only had a ps2. but it isn't much of a party gaming system though. now i only wished i have a better tv system and a better looking home.. haha. its getting old and unfurnished. and the other day some rat from the outside prata store came into my home.. (nabe$^#&*)

well.. for now.. everything seems good.. i've been driving out to the neighbourhood malls to look for a couple more wii game titles to add more fun when we play. a lil bit chor on my pocket. but i think its worth it bah. (i'm still getting over the fact that i didnt make the best buy for my wii.. could have saved alot if i bought everything separately instead of trying to buy all and bargain from the same shop.. ) now i only need to find the 2007 'warioware, smooth moves" and the wii would be truely fun bah.

for the food part of the party, haha. i think mebbe my dad's busy but then he's a lil lazy, he's not really participating much. esp when he's the 'advisor chef' for this mini party. zzz. wonder what will happen if i were to invite my db friends. all of us guys can eat sooo much.. and everybody ate good food before so there's a certain level of standard in the food i will have to provide.. if only i have half of his skills good le. (anyway. no choice we can always go to the house of seafood @ 180 just outside my home. its just a stone throw away.. meaning also literally i can throw a stone and hit their roof if i wanted to. its that near. crazy place. its packed to the brim every nite..seriously.. we right now having recession meh? there's people enjoying da yu da rou everynite. even though its so near. i doubt my family will eat there, kopitiam chix rice and zichar w/o seafood is good enuff le). think i better buck up and do up my ia report on weeknites, so when come weekends, i can do some eca back at home in the kitchen.

anyway, sian 1/2 .. i jus received a mail from my colleague saying that no more plant shuddown 4 me in april and may. there's a demand increase for the coy's products.. but then.. good bah. hopefully, its a sign of the economy recovering, mebbe we can recover say ard 10% or more by the time my friends grad in june.

i hope for the best for tml's m_r500. it would be a relevation for us to plan our next step for the final push for june. the thot of competiting in the marina barrage , marina floating platform area then makes me excited.

i just hope god has a plan for me to find the right words at the right time , as well for me and the future her.

i jump to conclusions too easily sometimes.

its a scary experience to go to the gym, do your workout and halfway, you realise you can't really stand up straight for a while cos of the strain..

too long never train at this intensity.. and silly me. i was tryin to clock double sessions. thank god it's much better after some muscle rub and a good night's sleep.

i went back to school to tidy up cupboard so its easier to shift back home when april comes... cleaned it up a lil.. and took a nap till 5 plus then went early to src for my training..

glad i survived it. though. yeah. i lost alot of strength after all this while at ia.. and it was quite daunting as usual... despite that.. i think i will drag my feet to training again on wednesday so i can get back a bit of my fitness before mr.

it was also good catchin up wif ppl back in sch.. moving from one friend's place to another..

i had fun last fri.. organised nic's bdae and also ed's bdae.. a lil impromptu.. but okay arh.. hope he's happy.. esp now tat he's grad from poly .. hope he can get into either nus or ntu's biz sch wif his grades. wld be good arh.

we had it at broitzeit.. german bier bar and restaurant at raffles city.. (diagonally opposite the entrance of the mrt station.. facing chijmes.) i think the highlight was the beer .. the beers they served were smooth and fruity and light.. u can keep drinking and drinking..

i didnt know what to order so i took the goulash.. as written there " traditional german fare" .. mmm i always like trying new things.. it tasted a lil bit like the satay noodles in one of the army packs at first.. a lil bit like eating mee rebus wif beef rendang.. but its still quite tasty arh. but i think i will order some pork loins next time mebbe and focus on the beer.

it was also nice because its an open concept restaurant.. which makes it a nice chill out place.. but only when it doesnt rain.

the next day after trainin.. i went to the suntec it show 09.. wah lau . it was packed as hell.. the ground floor with all the escalators heading up was packed with people just like sardines in a can.. thank god the traffic is much better upstairs. accompanied ashley as he reviewed through the cameras from the different stores.. for camera for his sis (he claims so arh. but we all believe otherwise. hurhurhur) and i also had the company of denny and his 'sao zi' as wellas jonah to walk abt the place.. yekai and jinhan were with us initially as well.. but we lost them halfway as jinhan went to buy his laptop..

my kill for the day. 3 1 TB harddisks and a 4gb thumbdrive. hurhurhur. think the lady who serviced me and the guys was shocked to hear me ask for 3 of the harddisks.. dunno what i was going to do with so many harddisks haha..

in actual fact .. i bought 2 of the 1 TBs for my friend so yeah.. i only got 1. but its stil alot of space . good for making a backup for all my photos.. i was thinkin of buyin a wii but i didnt know they sold it there till i went home to check out the forums.. i guess it was better that it was by providence and its good that i didnt buy it cos i will be buyin on impulse at the show then.. not a good thing to do. i refuse to get somethin unless i'm fully informed of all the details of it even though its a good deal..

anyway.. i look fwd to tml.. because i've done all my homework for buyin my wii.. and i'm gonna do it tml. =) wii !

the week seemed hay -wire after i started posting my photos on tues.

bad stuff been happenin in school.. and yesterday evenin we had a second case of death.

got a call from my roomie on thurs regardin the YOG upgrading works on the halls and how i will be affected.. i guess.. i can't continue to rent my room and store my stuff there.. plus 'chorpe' the room anymore.. i should also move out bah. so that more deserving foreigners can at least have a cheaper roof over their head durin the hols. hope i can get back the same room for the 4th year though.. though.. chances seem slim

recently a couple of my friends also got attached.. mmm.. i would say. all but one was quite unexpected...

(though not entirely.. but it just feels. wierd.)

hearing some stuff abt my uncle also wierded me out too and irritated. i hope it wont end up ugly at the end of the day and i wish i can stop some part of the nonsense somehow.

mom also told me some stuff about my and my grandma's maid.. urgh. sometimes. they can be trouble instead of of a help in the house... esp when the blur one get taught the wrong stuff by some other smarty pants one who think she's the real queen of the house...come on lah. wake up lah..
