I feel that japanese .. are both quite neat and clean. The same goes for their creations in the arts.. every necessary detail is there.. but there's a balance of colour so that no one part stands out too much till it looks gaudy and loud. zen.

similarly, this picture gives me that exact same feeling...

there's this serene feel to it.

dun think these are that nice..but i was trying out the different metering on my camera today

i wanted to try taking one of this 'bokeh' shots with the new lens.. mmm.dunno if i did it right or what.. mebbe i shld look for more colourful lighted areas and try it out again..
