Asian Intern Games.

just felt good about my working experience today.

Late Yesterday afternoon me and my other interns in my departments got 'mobilized' to help the company with an emergency request to help sort some raw data for the customers.. apparently something screwed up within the programming.. felt a lil sian (wah lau. last min sai kang) cos i thot i would have to stay back late and miss dinner with my friends...

thankfully we didnt have to.. great ! and thinking positive...we kinda joked abt it.. saying if one person dun come all 5 of us will sign extra.. haha.

so yeah. this morning. we were gathered at 9am for 'roll call' and briefed one more time of our mission for the day. We will thought how to use the software and etc etc *confidential stuff* and then do their work. Each person is responsible for sorting out 20 entries each... and this process is quite long and tedious.

and when the clock struck 10am .. let the games begin.. wah. its been a while since the few of us so kan pia for any of our work. we just kept doing non stop till it was lunch time... where we quickly rushed to the canteen.. gobble down our food and then rush back to complete our work... we had our lunch so quickly that we came , queue up at the store, before our other friend who supposedly reached earlier to chorpe seats.. buy our food and finish before this friend who came earlier even reach the table with his food.

in the end, we manage to finish our work within the next hr.. winning this race against time, and the solo MY team coming in second and the CHn team coming in last after 2 hrs. mm. happy.

we ended up helpin the chn interns wif part of the work too $%#^& but anyway we felt good that we did something meaningful and helped save the company from potential losses. haha.

i also manage to finish this emergency job tasking in time and chair my meeting. manage to finish covering everything with my colleagues and i can almost close one of my IA projects le. double happines.

ended the day off with gym.. so i guess it was a day well spent.
